Rather than look for ways to stop conflict between a warring couple, Hummer orders them to be in situations that time and time again have caused problem after problem.

Hummmer – Lover of Acrimony. No Avoiding Conflict
November 2, 2006 (Click here to see the rest of the stories in TheCourtOfPublicOpinion.com)
When Flanders made false accusations about the custody exchange at the police station in November of 2004, Vonderheide was hauled off in hand-cuffs in front of his son. Hummer knew the District Attorney’s office stopped the prosecution after they viewed the video that vindicated Vonderheide. (this is the same video that she is being prosecuted for Perjury for lying in Hummer's courtroom!) In August of 2005, at a cost of nearly $8,000 to the Vonderheide, Dr. Arnold Sheinvold produced a custody evaluation and testified at the custody hearing. At the hearing, Dr. Sheinvold recommended that the parents should pick up the child before and after school so that there is zero contact between them. What did Judge Hummer do with that King Solomon wisdom? Judge Hummer sealed the report so the public wouldn’t know! (but we had a copy before he sealed it! Sorry – the truth got out!) After the custody hearing, Hummer ordered that the custody exchanges should not be at the camera- recording-police-station but rather at the YWCA. Six weeks later, at a custody exchange at the Y, Flanders and her fellow-liar, Kathy Yoder made false allegations against Vonderheide (and 5thEstate.com editor Ron Harper Jr!) On August 18, 2006 after witnessing the false allegation after false allegation by Flanders directed toward Vonderheide, Hummer gave a final order for the custody case. Where should the exchanges take place given all the problems in the past? If Vonderheide is to see his son, he must go to Flanders’ house! Because Flanders issued a “no trespass” letter, Vonderheide will be arrested if he steps one foot on her property! In order to protect himself from the false allegations that has cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees, court cost and loss wages, Vonderheide video tapes every exchange. Two months later at a custody conference on October 18, 2006 Flanders and her lawyer Jim Wolman want Vonderheide to be ordered to stop video taping the exchange. As long as the video taping occurs, Flanders can’t get away with lying! The acrimony? Supported by Judge Hummer
