Lovelace Lie Update!
He's trying to go Legit!
March 6, 2007 Don't look for "Crimes" reporter Brett Lovelace to write any stories on voter registration. 5thEstate.com remains that only source to report on Lovelace's lies about living at the newspaper office and voting twice in the 2004 presidential election! ( Click to Read) In addition to the perjury, Lovelace also violated the following: Pennsylvania Title 25 § 961.1703. States: (a) Prohibition.—"An individual may not do any of the following: […] Declare as residence a place or address which the individual knows is not the individual's legal residence." The penalty section reads as follows: "A person who violates subsection (a) commits a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $10,000 or to imprisonment for not more than five years, or both, and to forfeit the right of suffrage for ten years."
5thEstate.com followed up with Lovelace's residency problem and found that Lovelace is trying to go legit! The day we published the story about Lovelace living at the newspaper, he canceled his voter registration in Cecil County, Maryland. And what about Lovelace saying he lived at the newspaper's office? Lovelace finally changed his address to the same Lititz apartment where his wife is registered! Interestingly, Lovelace apparently changed his Driver License from 8 West King Street to the Lititz address as well. Is Lovelace losing it? According to Lovelace, after talking to his lawyer, he did the most silly and outrageous thing - and did we tell you he broke the law yet again?! We'll be publishing that story soon! Stay tuned to 5thEstate.com where we keep track of the 4th Estate!
